The Lookout Shop is located in the historic town of Silverton, Colorado - high in the San Juan Mountains of southwest Colorado.

San Juan County has an average elevation of 11,020 feet making it the highest county in the United States.

Silverton's altitude of 9318 feet assures a cool summer climate (and abundant winter snowfall for the outdoor enthusiast).

Come visit our beautiful town. Ride the spectacular Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Train. The Lookout Shop is only 150 feet from the "end of tracks" of this awesome coal fired steam train.

The town is on U.S. Highway 550 which is a major route between Salt Lake City and Albuquerque. It is named the San Juan Skyway because of its spectacular scenery.

                COME VISIT!
